  12. Hi. I'm interested in (perhaps) building a computer for myself based on an
  13. ARM chipset of some sort. Can anyone give me a list of the various sets
  14. available and some details on each of them?

  16. What I'm interested in is things like: clock speed, cache size, approximate
  17. MIPS, VIDC capabilities, and other details on the family. As far as I am
  18. aware, there are 3 separate sets in use, ARM2, ARM3 and the new ARM6. I
  19. _think_ that the ARM6 is way out of my league, but I'm still interested in
  20. finding out about it...

  22. BTW: If possible, can anyone recommend any books or magazine articles that
  23. I should read about ARMs?
