  28.    This is not something I would care to even try and implement. The problem
  29. with such an idea is how does the anti-virus code decide what is a 'safe'
  30. filing operation and what is not? And virus writers, being the antisocial
  31. sorts they are, will automatically make a virus that alters files in a way
  32. deemed safe by your virus protector.

  34.    The only way to stop viruses (virii?) is to stop people writing them in
  35. the first place. Any other scheme is basically stop-gap.
