  12.   Version 2.04 of Tertis is almost on its way to c.b.a.  -  it  is
  13.   just awaiting an ok from my playtester. A lot of the changes are
  14.   cosmeticish, but there are some useful modifications.  Here's  a
  15.   small list of the main updates.

  21. . The scrolly message is now, as  requested  by  several  parents,
  22.   politically correct. Ok, so sue me.
  23. . The sprites and graphics have been done up a bit.
  24. . The game takes up less space in memory; 512k, and on disk; 261k.
  25. . The key to start a game on another level has been moved to 'X'.
  26. . Escape is now valid to abort level entry.
  27. . Any key is valid to skip high-score tables.
  28. . Space can be used in your three initials.
  29. . Your initials are accepted after the third letter.
  30. . Backspace is valid as well as delete.
  31. . For the benefit of Econet users, the high-score table  has  been
  32.   altered to cope with multiple users of the  same copy of Tertis.
  33. . The level 35 limit on starting in on levels has been removed.
  34. . Lots of state (sound, keyboard) that is changed by the game,  is
  35.   restored on return to the desktop.
  36. . Volume controls have been added.
  37. . The feature that caused the game to crash when you won  it,  has
  38.   been removed.
  39. . The entire application and screen memory  allocation  thing  has
  40.   been cleared up, so that the game will  run  in  any  situation,
  41.   provided the sum of free application and  screen  memory  is  at
  42.   least 512+160k.
  43. . Scoring has been revised.

  47.   As before, it is Rhubarbware (Rharbarberware), not public domain
  48.   or anything like that. If you haven't planted your  rhubarb  yet,
  49.   it's probably a bit late - you should have done it earlier.
