  16. An industry colleague recalls seeing a press release that stated that the
  17. "competing UNIX standards have merged".  I recall a notice that suggested
  18. that SVID is supported by both OSF and UI.  Of course, neither of us can
  19. locate the articles in which we think these statements occurred :-)
  20. Can anyone shed any light on this, either by confirming or refuting these
  21. statements, or by identifying the press release/article in which they
  22. appeared?
