  13. I like the idea of dynamic resizing.

  15. Currently the message line works very hard at shrinking itself smaller when you
  16. enlarge it.  Example:  I visit a new file with a long path name.  I enlagre the
  17. message line.  When the new file is read, since it's displayed in a new
  18. "buffer" the message line goes back to the default size.  This too can
  19. often be a lose.

  21. Making everything be a dialogue box may or may not be a good thing.

  23. Now that ATK has real pop-up dialogue boxes, maybe someone could code
  24. one of those allegedly winning macintosh file dialogue boxes.  The ones
  25. I've used on the Mac suck, but maybe a decent one exists somewhere.
