  11. Well there's good news and bad news.

  13. First the bad news:

  15. My distrubutor sucks. Remember when I told you to stick with your
  16. distributor even if He/She has slightly higher prices than another
  17. distributor? And even if they screw up once and a while?
  18. Well there has to come a time when there's a "last straw".

  20. It has arrived.

  22. I call my guy and ha says "Yeah we got 521 MC68HC11E2P parts in stock"
  23. I tell you all this.
  24. I have requests for 36 plus my 10 so far. (Payment for 4 so far)
  25. I send in a request for other parts and accidentally leave the MC68HC11E2P
  26. on the bid sheet.
  27. I get a bid of $14.17 (No problem) and a lead of 20 weeks.
  28. I call my guy and he says "Well I think I might have made a mistake"
  29. Yep, They should be in December 15 1992.
  30. Oh, No big deal, I only told the world that you have them. Thanks.

  32. So that's the end of him.

  34. The good news:

  36. He also screwed up and said that the "P" suffix was the PLCC version
  37. it is not. the "FN" suffix is the part we want.
  38.  
  39. So Monday I'll get on the phone and try to track some "FN" parts down.
  40. My guy might have some but I'll check him LAST.

  42. I'll hold your checks undeposited just in case I can't find any.
  43.  
  44. I might have a lead on 40 "P" suffix parts so if anyone really wants
  45. the "P" part (48 pin DIP without pins PC4/AD4 through PC7/AD7) you lose
  46. 4 analog input pins. I'll let you know about them.
