- I am looking for realtime benchmarks which:

- 1. measure the regular things such as context switch time,
- preemption time, interrupt latency, etc.,
- 2. run entirely in user-state, ie. do not require kernel modifications,
- 3. run on various flavors of Unix

- I would appreciate any pointers to either sources or descriptions of such
- benchmarks. Also, I was wondering how much of (1) can be accomplished given
- (2). This might explain the apparent dearth of benchmarks which possess the
- characteristics given above, specially when compared to the numerous general
- processor performance benchmarks.
