- I have a copy of the standard published in 1985 sitting on my desk. It
- was an attempt to develop a standard OS interface for microcomputers
- back in the days of 8-bit micros. I have only seen one reference to it
- in the literature (IEEE Computer, several years ago). From what I have
- seen, no one has ever implemented this standard. It is now outdated.
- All the real-time OS standards have converged on the 1003.4
- activities.
