  25. I have a copy of the standard published in 1985 sitting on my desk.  It
  26. was an attempt to develop a standard OS interface for microcomputers
  27. back in the days of 8-bit micros.  I have only seen one reference to it
  28. in the literature (IEEE Computer, several years ago).  From what I have
  29. seen, no one has ever implemented this standard.  It is now outdated.
  30. All the real-time OS standards have converged on the 1003.4
  31. activities.
