  11. I'm trying to get NTP working on our network of RS/6000s here, and having
  12. one hell of a time of it.

  14. "ntp" works.  However, ntpd exits with an alarm call.  The server I am
  15. trying to talk to IS online and responding (I can hit it with an "ntp"
  16. request and it works).

  18. What gives?  Is there some bizarreness with AIX that is needed to make this
  19. work?
