- Could anyone tell me if it is possible to have FTPBIN
- automatically login with my username and password without
- interacting with me? I cannot for the life of me figure out
- how to do it if it is possible. When I type in the following
- : USER <user-name> <password>, it takes the user-name and
- password as a single string as the user-name and then prompts
- me for a password. However, when I try this on a UNIX machine
- to a VAX and vice versa, it works. It just doesn't seem to
- work with a PC.
-
- I would like to be able to put a periodic ftp
- session on an launch scheduler to automatically transfer files
- unattended. Or is it possible to find a background ftp server
- to do this on the PC? Please let me know if you can help me.
