- The thing that was not mentioned was the ethernet hardware and NDIS
- driver used. I have noted this problem with the Ungermann-Bass NDIS
- driver. In the case of NCSA Telnet, the solution is to turn on the
- "noarpme" switch. The UB driver is the only NDIS driver I have found
- that exhibits this aberrent, abhorrent behavior but there may be others.

- Echoing broadcast packets back to the sender was *required* by some
- versions of the NDIS spec, and the PDS doesn't specify any behaviour.
- NCSA should be smarter about checking the sender's MAC address...
