  28. I, too, am trying to get bootpd (via ka9q v910618) to service over
  29. 100 [CUTCP] PC's with limited success.

  34. My problem seems to be that ka9q does not recognize my bootptab file
  35. where I have static entries for my PC(s).  Ka9q always assigns from
  36. the dynamic pool I establish in autoexec.net.  Does the bootptab file
  37. have to be in a particlur location on my ka9q PC?  Having not worked
  38. with BOOTP prior to this experience, I am (very) limited in BOOTP
  39. specifics.  No matter what I try, the dynamic entries get assigned!
  40. I want to be able to detect the ethernet number and assign the IP
  41. number via an entry in the bootptab file - isn't this what BOOTPd
  42. (via ka9q) is all about?
