- Problems that appear on cold boots but disappear after a second (warm) boot
- are usually caused by not excluding an expansion card's memory area from
- a memory manager's load line.

- Make sure you tell EMM386/QEMM/whatever you're running to "exclude" the
- scanner and network card address space from its memory manipulations.
