  15. When I leave my machine overnight and come back in the morning I
  16. find my slip connection has died on me. Does it timeout on inactivity
  17. in the belief that it's saving dialup line money (I have a fixed
  18. link)? There is no mention of such behaviour in my docs. Can I
  19. disable this "feature" or do I have to get my machine to run ping
  20. over the connection at regular intervals or is it something completely
  21. different?
