- The last time I checked, I was severely thwarted in attempts to establish
- an X.25 connection between me on accunet and apple computer on telenet,
- even tough Apple's network manager and I both wanted to do some
- interoperability testing.
-
- After much pulling of strings and threating to cut off service (and
- nearly being called a liar to my face by the ATT technical
- representative to OSINET, I was told that I might be granted permission
- to do that if I were to write a technical proposal to OSINET detailing
- exactly what kind of testing I had in mind, and why UC Berkeley
- couldn't afford to shell $7K to join OSINET, and blah, blah, blah.
- I wound up doing some testing against the CDNnet people in toronto.
-
- I would say that X.75 interconnectivity is FAR from comlete.
