- I'm trying to install PC-NFS (4.0a) on an AT&T 6386 w/ DOS 5.0 & Windows
- 3.1.
- It works fine in DOS, but when I go into Windows nothing works. It doesn't
- crash -- it just acts as if I'm not connected to the network at all. Then
- when I exit Windows and go back to DOS, it continues not-working.
- Sometimes
- even just starting up Windows and exiting back to DOS will cause PC-NFS
- to fail. Has anyone seen this before?
-
- Also, since this will be in a lab when it's working, is there an easy way
- to
- set it up so that all a person has to do is type in his/her username &
- password and it will find out which server their home directory is on and
- mount it automagically?
-
- Thanks in advance for any help!
