  12. We have a small project to implement PC's connected to a HP server
  13. used for file and printer sharing. Also Filetransfer and Telnet (login)
  14. is required. A first choice was HP- Lanmanager, but we found it
  15. lacks the filetransfer and login software. HP representatives
  16. could not recommend products to which delivers this functionality,
  17. in combination with also an Email product to exchange mail between PC's,
  18. the server and a couple of other HP workstations on the LAN.
  19. Any suggestion for products is welcome.

  21. We now also considered PC-NFS on the PC's, which includes FTP and
  22. Telnet. We consider Sun's Lifeline to implement Email on the PC's.
  23. Does this work with HP servers? Any other suggestion for us to
  24. implement Email on the PC. What is additionally required on the
  25. HP server?
