- Hi,
- I am currently using DINGO tool developed by NIST. I find it very difficult to understand the
- structure and codes generated by the tool, and I haven't got any docs. and info other than the
- overview and user guide which come together with the distribution. And I have few problems to
- ask :
-
- 1) About using the tool in (semi) automated development, I wonder if anyone has used it in real
- development yet ? If so, please give me some pointers into using of the tool.
-
- 2) About the site_serv and sited. As from the user guide, we are supposed to run different
- modules as different process on DIFFERNET system! Yes, but how ? It's stated that, we will
- need to run site server program on different machines, and collect their addresses into a
- file (site_serv.addrs), and ship copies of site_serv.addrs to other distant sites. But, what
- do they mean ? Can anyone give some examples of the actual commands we have to type in from
- the shell ? (I just don't understand what is meant by the brief instructions in the user
- guide).
-
- 3) About more info. and docs. Can we get more docs. and especially programmers references for
- this tool ? I will find things like general description of major data structures generated
- by the tools, and some essential generated routines very useful in order to make good use
- of the tool.
-
-
- Since it is a development job I am working on, I really appreciate any ideas, guidelines etc at
- all, especially with respect to point 1) and 3)! I will think if volumes of programmers
- reference are available, that will certainly nake life very easy.
-
- Many thanks in advance.
-
- Email replies most welcomed!!
