  11. All of the schemes mentioned so far for adding SecureID card support to 
  12. Kerberos v4 seem to negate what I see as one of the system's greatest 
  13. strengths, that the user's password is not routinely shuttled across the 
  14. network (OK, so it *is* transmitted during password-changing, but I can't 
  15. think of anyother time).  It seems to me that any valid integration has got to 
  16. include this feature.
