  12. I'm having trouble understanding one paragraph of ISO LAPB:
  13. ISO 7776-1986, last paragraph of 5.4.7, Receiving an RNR frame.
  14. Are there any corregenda, defect reports, or other documents
  15. clarifying this?

  17. I'm particularly interested in the exact meaning of the
  18. phrase "any time during the enquiry process."  
  19.  
  20. It also seems curious that the third sentence begins "if 
  21. Timer T1 is running" since there is no enquiry unless
  22. Timer T1 is running.  
  23.  
  24. ISO 4335-1987 and CCITT X.25-1988 have interesting variations
  25. on this subject.  I understand that 4335 must be regarded
  26. as the definitive document, so maybe clarification of what
  27. 4335 requires is what I really need.
