- TN3270 is a 3270 emulation over TELNET. You have to have some TCP/IP route
- into the mainframe such as IBM's TCP/IP with a 3172 or a McData or Open
- Connect SNA to TCP/IP gateway.

- The 3270 emulation is performed on the client. That is, on the device on
- which you are executing TN3270. You send and receive full screens from the
- mainframe.
