  12. Previously, I read in an article here about some "quirks" of Apple's AppleTalk
  13. Internet Router. (i.e. behavior not documented or not corresponding to Inside
  14. AppleTalk)  Seeing that I am (or was- now that I'm back at school I doubt
  15. progress will continue for a few months) writing software for an AIR, could
  16. someone come up with a list of these bugs/"extra features"/annoyances, or
  17. whatever you would call them?

  19. Also, if there is a newsgroup for this, I figure this must be it: would there be
  20. any interest in a piece of software with which you would "build" an AIR? 
  21. Basically, when I started out on the project, it was really just a challenge to
  22. see if I could do it.  Now that 97% of the code is in and debugging has begun,
  23. would administrators see taking an IBM PC-class machine, throwing two (or more)
  24. Ethernet boards into it, and running my software, as an attractive solution to
  25. needing a router?  The whole thing is built to use the Clarkson packet drivers,
  26. and in fact the package allows any suite of "routing modules" to be installed at
  27. any one time - although the only person writing them is me right now, and the
  28. only module I've created is the AIR.  So what does anyone/everyone think?  Worth
  29. my time to finish it?
