  12. I am usually a happy CAP user. I have recently been trying to send 
  13. PostScript files from a MAC to a lwsrv process on an SGI Indigo.
  14. The lwsrv process seems to drop data while receiving EPS files included
  15. in a PostScript document. The document was created using QuarkXpress 3.1.

  17. I sent the same page using KSpool (from Xinet), which runs on Phase 2
  18. EtherTalk, and the file came over OK.

  20. The reason I suspect packet loss is because when you look at the PS
  21. data and get to the EPS binary data, then try to skip over the data
  22. using the byte number value in the PS file, you will shoot past the 
  23. endbinary comment.

  25. My SGI is running cap6.0 Patch level 100 (ALL PATCHES!!! Could someone
  26. tell me where to find an officially patched 6.0???). I am using
  27. Phase 1 EtherTalk.
