- I am usually a happy CAP user. I have recently been trying to send
- PostScript files from a MAC to a lwsrv process on an SGI Indigo.
- The lwsrv process seems to drop data while receiving EPS files included
- in a PostScript document. The document was created using QuarkXpress 3.1.
-
- I sent the same page using KSpool (from Xinet), which runs on Phase 2
- EtherTalk, and the file came over OK.
-
- The reason I suspect packet loss is because when you look at the PS
- data and get to the EPS binary data, then try to skip over the data
- using the byte number value in the PS file, you will shoot past the
- endbinary comment.
-
- My SGI is running cap6.0 Patch level 100 (ALL PATCHES!!! Could someone
- tell me where to find an officially patched 6.0???). I am using
- Phase 1 EtherTalk.
-
- Can someone give me some advice on where to start looking for the problem???
