- Well, if it's read only, don't use it! AUFS can serve a volume that
- is read only for _it's_ clients, but it itself wamts to write in the
- root directory of that volume. (I'm not sure if it _has_ to if you're
- serving a "unix only" volume, but if you're serving a Mac volume you
- definitely need to be able to write in it.) Try mounting a subdirectory
- of the automounted directory instead.

- Well, why doesn't it work? Where does it fail? It has worked for me,
- although I didn't test it extensively.
