  14. I remember a discussion of parallel makes a while back, but I didn't
  15. save anything from it (silly me :-).

  17. I'm looking for any code or work that's been done with MIMD-based make
  18. programs.  The makes that I've found source for so far (ucb, gnu)
  19. assume that the OS handles scheduling and load balancing and simply
  20. fork off a number of concurrent compiles.

  22. I'd like to be able to submit a make to a mimd-dm machine, w/o OS
  23. scheduling, however.  I'm interested in writing the code if it doesn't
  24. exist already, so references to papers, tr's and the like are
  25. acceptible.
