- On a 6xxx system you can do it from the console (cntrl-P) if you are
- quick about it. I just did it last weekend, but remember your system will
- hang for the duration of the console command - after about 30 seconds VMS
- may not be able to recover. So do it when there isn't much going on and
- be quick. Make sure your cpu switch is in the update position.
- Of course, the best method is to take the system down and take your time.
