  42. Let me guess Helling uses CONDIST. For some reason DEC do not put the licence
  43. requirements on CONDIST, or rather they do but they are in the release notes
  44. which you have to install the damn thing to read. The installation notes are
  45. there of course but not the info on PAKs.

  47. What is worse is that after buggering up the system with a new version one can't
  48. always move back, by the time the full import of the release notes becomes
  49. apparent something else has been done to the system. Thus the unwary discover
  50. that after three days of installing everything under the sun that their original
  51. idea of getting phigs and GKS-3D working at the same time is a non starter and
  52. have to scrub everything out and start again to go back to the versions that
  53. would talk to each other :-(
