  23. The would, except that they're so busy handling people who
  24. can't/won't read that there's no time and money left.

  26. When we got the "temporary SUPs" from Digital 3 years ago they told us
  27. that we needed to get real PAKs.  When the PAKs for some things didn't show
  28. up after 6 months, they sent us a letter saying, "if you didn't get any
  29. PAKs, please let us know."  When the Fortran compiler showed up last month,
  30. it had a big letter on the top saying, "hey, if you don't have a certain
  31. kind of PAK, then you better get one before upgrading."

  33. I think that 3 years notice PLUS a special letter with the kit is plenty of
  34. "something extra."
