  16. The first place to start would be Microware:

  18.  "The OS-9 Catalog"    (free)  good overview of the system
  19.  "The OS-9000 Catalog" (free)
  20.  "The OS-9 Sourcebook" (extra cost - reference of systems & applications)
  21.  "List of OS-9 OEM Licensees" (good ref for authors covering OS9)
  22.  "Pipelines"  (quarterly newsletter)
  23.  
  24. Much of the info in the "Catalogs" can also be found in downloadable text
  25. form on CompuServe ("go msc" or "go microware").

  27. As for books, there've been about half a dozen, but most dealt with OS9/6809.
  28. The only totally OS9/68K book so far is:

  30.  "OS-9 Insights (Advanced programmer's guide to OS9/68K)", by Dibble,
  31.   published by Microware, 1988.  340+ pages.

  33. I've heard of (but never bought) this book:

  35.  "16- and 32- Bit Microcomputer Interfacing", by Lipovski. ISBN 0-13-812074-9
  36.   or TK7887.5.L55, 1990 (contains chapter on writing OS-9 drivers).

  38. There's also supposed to be some hardcore OSK (OS9/68K) programmer books
  39. coming from a company in the UK, but I can't seem to find my notes on them.

  44. Doctor Dobbs Journal : Jan     1987 : "The OS-9 (68K) Operating System"
  45. BYTE                 : Sep     1990 : "From Tiny Kernels..." (OS9/OS9000)

  47. Also, there are the OS-9 newsletters and magazines mentioned in the FAQ,
  48. which often have technical info and application notes.
