- I had the same problem with BC++ 3.0. You need to go into the DOS properties
- of the program item for BC++ and set the DOS_DPMI_API (or something like that)
- to "ENABLED" Then, set the DOS_DPMI_LIMIT to something comfortable, like
- 6 or 8 Mb. Finally, set the DOS_IDLE_DETECTION (or something to that
- effect) to 100 to disable OS/2's idle detection of BC++ (or the compiler
- will be terrible slow). Hope this helps.

- properties of the DOS box to those described for BC++ program icon.
