  12. About running BC++ 3.1 under OS/2

  14. I have BC++ 3.1 running on my machine.  I have it installed on a HPFS
  15. partition.  I do not have the command line compiler installed.  I
  16. did have the windows stuff installed under WIN-OS2, but I removed it
  17. because it was flakey and some of it did not seem to run at all.

  19. The dos part however seems to run fine.  You must however set the
  20. DPMI_DOS_API setting to ENABLED.  Also, I have heard that some people
  21. have had the compiler (from IDE) re-compile before running the program 
  22. when the program is already up to date.  I believe however, that these
  23. persons had BC installed on a FAT partition as I have not seen this problem
  24. yet.   I have not used the compiler extensively as of yet so I don't
  25. know of all the gotcha's but it does seem to work fine so far.
