- About running BC++ 3.1 under OS/2
-
- I have BC++ 3.1 running on my machine. I have it installed on a HPFS
- partition. I do not have the command line compiler installed. I
- did have the windows stuff installed under WIN-OS2, but I removed it
- because it was flakey and some of it did not seem to run at all.
-
- The dos part however seems to run fine. You must however set the
- DPMI_DOS_API setting to ENABLED. Also, I have heard that some people
- have had the compiler (from IDE) re-compile before running the program
- when the program is already up to date. I believe however, that these
- persons had BC installed on a FAT partition as I have not seen this problem
- yet. I have not used the compiler extensively as of yet so I don't
- know of all the gotcha's but it does seem to work fine so far.
-
- Hope this helps.
