- I had the new kernel on for some time. I did several things at one time
- which *may* have contributed to things:

- added 4 megs, to bring me to a total of 12 megs 60ns RAM
- added new (buggy!) commga driver, which caused some TRAPs, so the disk
- doesn't get shut down properly

- messed with some video things.

- the new kernel has been problem free.

- As I write this, my desktop has regained some composure (for now).
- I think whatever file it stores your TASKLIST stuff and the other state info
- in got corrupted. I closed a few windows before shutting down last time, and
- the system came up properly.

- vooodooo. Hoping the CSD has lots of fixes (the little niggly minor problems
- add up, and make you wonder sometimes....)
