  10. So I've gotten IBM's TCP/IP to work and it seems pretty stable, except
  11. for a few small problems I was wondering if anybody had any ideas:

  13. 1) If I mount my PC disk from my HP700 via NFS, all is well until I
  14. try to 'ls' one particular directory (or any of its subdirectories).
  15. I can copy to and from the directory, and 'ls' all the other
  16. directories, but this one in particular crashes the NFS daemon on my
  17. PC.  Any thoughts?

  19. 2) I just noticed this one this morning.  If I'm running a DOS shell
  20. (specifically, NDOS, the 4dos clone from Norton) and I try to use a
  21. DOS shareware directory lister ('dx') on an NFS-mounted disk, I get a
  22. hard crash of the entire system.  Wait a minute while I try it again
  23. and can get the message ......

  38. Do DOS native directory programs break if they try to read the
  39. directory of an NFS disk?  Is there some special driver I need to
  40. load?
