- Hello, I'm trying to get the Requester to work with an SMC Elite 16 card.
- I'm only trying to use Novell at this point, no other protocol stacks involved.
- IT seems to load up fine, but during the desktop setup, the screen switches
- to full screen and displays an error message across the top:
-
- NWD0115 Failure getting connection ID 0x000F
-
- Using the network icon, I can see it's found the server, and I can log in by
- double clicking on the server icon. I can also see the network drives and
- traverse the directory structure on them. I can't open a dos or OS/2 window
- and login. Under a dos window, I get "packed file corrupt" in response to the
- login command. Under OS/2, I can login, but can't map any drives. Nor can I
- map drives using the NWTools that come with the requester.
-
- I'm using the smc8000 ODI driver. The server is running Netware 2.12 (Ugh).
-
- So, I'd be happy to send along config.sys and net.cfg to anyone who thinks
- they can help.
-
- Or is the problem the ancient version of Netware we're running here?
-
- Thanks, Jay
