  27.    Now that I (at last!) have upgraded to TCP/IP 1.2.1 with the kind
  28.    assistance of the people on this group, I have a new problem.

  30.    Does anyone have/know about an OS/2 NDIS driver for the Isolan 4110-3
  31.    card? It's in an MCA machine (PS/2 55sx with 8MB) and the local agents
  32.    don't have a clue what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, I don't have
  33.    much of a clue either.

  35.    Any help would be appreciated. (They want to use Ethernet like me,
  36.    rather than SLIP and I don't blame them.)

  38.    P.S. Is there a CSD for the Xwindows module? That focus problem is a
  39.    real pain and I recently had to kill the xterm on the Unix box to do
  40.    anything with it.

  46. There is an OS/2 NDIS driver in the latest drivers disk set (v. 3.10).
  47. Unfortunately, it is dated May 1991, so I do not know if it works with 2.0.

  49. The Norwegian distributor, after I have been pestering him for months for
  50. a working ODI driver for OS/2 2.0, tells me that :

  52. a) 3Com has stopped production of the BICC cards since their recent takeover
  53. b) 3Com has stopped further driver development for BICC cards
  54.  
  55. So, no working ODI driver for OS/2 2.0 ( for Netware and OS/2 coexistence),
  56. probably no other modern working drivers either.
  57. (There is a working ODI for MSDOS, however, though only for 16-bit cards)
  58.  
  59. Which leaves us, a 100 % BICC installation, somewhere out in the cold.

  61. Buy new cards? Yes, probably over time.
