- Hello,
-
- I am somewhat in trouble regarding the configuration of OS/2 and Netware.
- I could do some experiments, but I would like to hear first some
- experiences - I don't want to reinstall my System 8 times a day :-)
- Some questions to the people already running OS/2 with the Netware Requester:
-
- How do you configure you Netware for running with OS/2 ?
- What do you put into Login Scripts ? Do you use them at all ?
-
- Do you install applications on the net ?
- What do you do with path and libpath ?
- Is drive mapping necessary for OS/2-Sessions ?
- How safe is it to use the \\server\volume\path notation when installing
- - OS/2 Software
- - WINOS2 or DOS-Software ?
-
- Do you use the text-and-menu-based utilities like syscon ?
-
-
- Which way do you use for Logins ? Why ?
- - LOGIN.EXE (OS/2 Version) from OS/2 prompt ?
- - LOGIN.EXE (OS/2 Version) from OS/2 prompt ?
- - attach from WPS by double-click onto a network-related Icon?
-
- Thanks in advance for any insights!
-
- Regards
-
