  16. VDISK.SYS has been around for many years, at least as far back as DOS 3.0,
  17. maybe even further back.  It is/was a standard DOS facility that
  18. comes from IBM or Microsoft, not a share-ware, public domain, or whatever
  19. program.  Thus, its its historical roots seem to be as
  20. a DOS program.  The version shipped with OS/2 may or may not have anything
  21. to do with the old DOS version, but it certainly looks and acts the same.

  23. However, the version shipped with OS/2 is in the OS/2 directory, so
  24. maybe it is an OS/2 driver rather than a DOS one????
