- We for some time now have had a U*ix clone OS that will run hosted on virtualy
- any O/S that we care to port to. It seems to me that with the amount of Unix
- software out there it would be a distinct advantage for any Non Unix O/S to
- be able to emulate/simulate Unix. Is this not a reasonable idea or is my
- belief that since people are wiling to cough up big bucks for DOS emulatiors
- that run on Unix/OS2/NT why not a unix emulator on DOS/OS2/NT.
-
- Think of this not only could you compile and use all of your favourite GNU
- tools, and news, and mail. Heck you could run your IBCSII binaries.
-
- Any coments/flames/ridicule will be gracously accepted.
-
- Just a note UNIX belongs to the big hulking lawers at U.S.L. and I would never
- want to have anybody believe that we have a UNIX O/S. We look the same but
- there is no USL code in our O/S, in fact our O/S is not even written in C so
- we owe them no tribute.
