- (I thought I'd keep this public since I think it is potentially
- important to many people.)
-
- My BIOS is up to date; I called it in to the distributor (Washburn
- and Co.?).
-
- I removed my SCSI, FAX, and 8MB daughter board (leaving me with 8MB)
- before installing (the nth time). This left me with the FDD/IDE HD
- interface (Western Digital?) and a VGA video card (swapped an Orchid
- Prodesigner II, Sota VGA/16, and no-name ET3000). The serial and
- parallel ports are on the motherboard (but can be disabled).
-
- I also tried the ST506 fix (just for kicks).
-
- These changes did not help at all.
