- It's called product placement, and it's seldom subliminal (meaning that
- your conscious brain is unaware of it). Watch any TV show or movie, and
- you'll see products strategically placed to be in the foreground of many
- shots -- watch Doogie Howser get a drink out of his fridge, if he holds
- the can that way for anything but to highlight the brand, well...

- It's glaringly obvious when it happens, if you have any idea that it
- might be happening. A great scene from the Wayne's World movie made fun
- of product placement while at the same time advertising the very
- products sponsering the movie.
