You do of course realise that you are setting yourself up for OOOOOOHHH so many
replies.  I have been using OS/2 for 6 months now.  Other than the first little
adjustment that any change neccessitates, I have had absolutely NO problems.
Before this I was using Win 3.1 and just wasn't able to run multiple DOS
sessions without either crashing or (As you say) the speed of a snail going up
hill.  OS/2 may not be completely BUG free, but the promise of what it will do
along with the usefullness of what it DOES do make it a far better choice for
me.  As for IBM being slow with releases, I would much rather have a release
that is as stable as possible than a release that's just intended to squelch
the static that is coming from people who have NO intention of using the
product anyway.  By the way, I'd like to see NT run at the speed that OS/2 does
using the apps that I have.  According to a friend who has seen the demon, it's
SLOOOOOWWWWWWW.  If you take out all of the de-bugging code, you may get a
better performance, but at best it may compare with OS/2 2.0 with 16 bit
kernel.  (Just an opinion)

Anyway, like I stated earlier, you set yourself up for that one.
