- I agree Hercules is a ancient technology, and as such IBM undoubtedly considered
- it's market too small to be of any value to develop for. Quite rightly. After
- all, Hercules is not sufficient for current GUI applications. If you do not
- require color, then pick up a monochrome EGA or VGA card. The fact that some
- systems still sell with Hercules just goes to show that idiots will still buy
- anything.

- After all, OS/2 AND Windows NT both require a 386. So why don't some whine
- about them not developing special versions for a 286? You have to stop
- somewhere, and I even think that supporting CGA is archaic.
