- Hi!
-
- I haven't seen this problem discussed yet, so I thought I bring it up
- to see if anyone else is experiencing it...
-
- When I run certain (I assume older) OS/2 shareware packages that write
- to stdout in an OS/2 window, the display flashes to full-screen, the
- apps write to it, then my window comes back---with no output displayed
- in it. I can partially get around the problem by piping the output
- through more or page---the window still disappears momentarily, but
- comes back with the output nicely displayed in it.
-
- HOWEVER, sometimes the window *doesn't* come back, and it disappears
- from the Task List also. So... I have to change the session settings
- to go the current session instead of spawning a new one, then click on
- the icon to bring the current session back, then change my session
- settings back to the way I like them. What a pain!
-
- Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, how did you get around
- it?
-
- Thanks in advance!
