  14. I haven't seen this problem discussed yet, so I thought I bring it up
  15. to see if anyone else is experiencing it...

  17. When I run certain (I assume older) OS/2 shareware packages that write
  18. to stdout in an OS/2 window, the display flashes to full-screen, the
  19. apps write to it, then my window comes back---with no output displayed
  20. in it.  I can partially get around the problem by piping the output
  21. through more or page---the window still disappears momentarily, but
  22. comes back with the output nicely displayed in it.

  24. HOWEVER, sometimes the window *doesn't* come back, and it disappears
  25. from the Task List also.  So...  I have to change the session settings
  26. to go the current session instead of spawning a new one, then click on
  27. the icon to bring the current session back, then change my session
  28. settings back to the way I like them.  What a pain!

  30. Has anyone else run into this problem?  If so, how did you get around
  31. it?
