- Well, I know this most likely has come up before, seeing as this group gets
- tons of posts each day, but here goes anyhow...
-
- I just installed OS/2, and would like just this one obstacle cleared. For
- some reason, which I don't know, I can't run any DOS or windows programs from
- either a DOS window, full-screen, Win-OS/2 (starting from OS/2 desktop icon),
- OS/2 sessions, or icons from within OS/2. It'll say something like sys0005,
- access denied for the DOS stuff, and in OS/2 windows, won't even read some
- directories, like windows.
-
- For the reading directories, it says extended attribute not set or
- something like that, and stops. I am very frustrated, and can't seem to locate
- (although I'm sure its out there somewhere) the answer to this problem.
-
- help pleez!
-
- oh, btw, I have OS/2 running on a Packard Bell 386/20SX, 10 meg ram, 85 meg
- HD, all set up as DOS FAT, and almost completely installed (I didn't put in
- fonts).
-
- thanks...
