- Most IDE drives will do cylinder translation for you and give you a full
- 660MB disk with < 1024 cylinders (but probably lots of sectors/track or
- heads). This way you can even use large FAT partitions. I have a 500 meg
- drive with 1500 odd sectors (I think) that is fully formatted under DOS
- (not my machine :-) to 500 meg and 987 cylinders.
