- A little while back, someone posted a (cruel)rumour that MSoft was beta testing
- Excel 4.0 and/or Word 2.0 for OS/2. Is there even a shred of truth to that?
- It's pretty frustrating having a nice OS/2 setup, and there's SQUAT for OS/2
- for wordprocessing. Sure, you can pay $75 (upgrade)to get outdated versions of
- MS Word 1.1 and Excel 3.0, but if MS abandons them, what's the point?
-
- I called Lotus, and at least they will support OS/2 2.0, but 123 for OS/2 2.0
- won't be out until end of '92, and AmiPro 3.0 won't be out until '93
-
- WordPerfect for OS/2 2.0 is anyone's guess. Probably about the same time
- as Ami.
