- i agree. the above assertion that hardware market share tracks os
- market share simply because the one is bundled with the other is
- simplistic. for instance, i despise ps/2's, and wouldn't use one even
- if it were a gift. however, i swear by os/2. but i wouldn't buy a
- computer simply because it came with os/2, particularly if it were a
- ps/2. obviously cost and configuration are major issues ignored by
- the comparison.

- microsoft's special ps/2 version dos/windows to run? (snort) however
- hypothetical the comparison, the reasoning given above would assert
- that os/2 was successful because SO MANY consumers were buying ps/2's,
- only problem being that they're throwing out os/2, and installing windows/dos.
