- I too had the same problem, but managed to get a file compiled by
- placing

- SWAPPATH=C:\OS2\SYSTEM 1024 8192

- into CONFIG.SYS. I had tens of megabutes free on the C: partition. I
- use FAT partitions. I had the same problem with both the original GA
- kernel and with the 17.6. batch. Also the problem was with 2.1 and
- 2.2.2 versions of GCC/2. My friend also had this, so I guess this
- problem is not so uncommon.

- I do not know what the exception code 6 means, nor any of the other
- codes. Anybody care to tell me where is the list for the exception
- codes? I am interested, since LESS177 gives often exception 5 and
- never works.
