- The DOS upgrade will look for DOS on the hard disk. If it doesn't find it, the
- install stops.
-
- With the full version, it doesn't worry about whether DOS is there or not.
-
- With the DOS upgrade, it gets a bit silly. If you want to re-partition
- your disk for OS/2, you have to do it first with DOS FDISK and re-install
- DOS.....then install OS/2 over the top.......
-
- The first time I tried this, the install "TRAPped", so I just restarted it
- and it went just fine.......
-
- I have installed it on many machines since and not had that problem recurr.
