  13. I use the computer at home (quite a bit each day...probably on average
  14. 3-4 hours) from the seat of my lazy-boy recliner :)  Computer is up on
  15. a side stand, monitor is on a sliding/rotating arm and keyboard sits
  16. on my lap (off to one side so that the dog does not hit my escape key
  17. every time he puts the ball there for me to throw down the stairs).
  18. Not much room for anything but a track ball.  I have had a couple,
  19. but the logitech has by far the smoothest feel to it.  Really wish
  20. I could use one of the serial portable trackballs from them, but my
  21. motherboard has "jealous" serial ports.  They don't work, I can disable
  22. them to the extent my bus trackball and internal modem work fine,
  23. but when you try to install a new serial card even disabled they
  24. refuse to allow the ports to work  %(  As it is I have the trackball on
  25. a sliding shelf arranged to move right up to the arm of the chair :)

  27. P.S.  This thread used to be related to OS/2 I am sure....?
  28. P.P.S. Trying to run a full screen dos session of Design Cad 3D
  29.        this last week (not tried it under OS/2 before) with
  30.        my video 7 1024i video card selected with 256 color mode (640x480)
  31.        and it displays fine, except when I move the cursor I get
  32.        lots of snow and the picture jumps.  I was told to try the
  33.        Mouse exclusivity option for the session, but it did not
  34.        seem to make any difference.  Any suggestions?
  35. P.P.P.S.  I never seem to get a response to any questions asked in a 
  36.           P.S.  I wonder if I would get any response to a poll
  37.           here asking folks to reply if they do not answer
  38.           questions in P.S.'s?  (actually, probably my own fault for
  39.           being a little too long winded.  like here  :)
